Disco Turkeys Triumphs Over Kelly Leak Allstars In Late-Game Victory

Disco Turkeys topped Kelly Leak Allstars 4-3 on Tuesday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at three in the bottom of the seventh when Johnny Damon tripled, scoring one run.
A home run to left field by Manny Ramirez put Kelly Leak Allstars on the board in the top of the first.
Disco Turkeys tied the game up in the bottom of the second thanks to two home runs. Disco Turkeys tied the game at two on a solo home run to center field by Rico Brogna.
Disco Turkeys took the lead in the bottom of the third. Mark Grace hit into a double play, but one run scored, to give Disco Turkeys the advantage, 3-2.
Scott Brosius homered to left field, which helped Kelly Leak Allstars tie the game at three in the top of the fourth.
Chuck Finley stepped on the bump first for Disco Turkeys. The left-handed pitcher gave up six hits and three runs over eight and two-thirds innings, striking out seven and walking one. Kelvim Escobar led things off on the mound for Kelly Leak Allstars. The pitcher allowed eight hits and four runs over seven innings, striking out four and walking one. Robb Nen appeared in relief for Disco Turkeys.
Damon and Scott Rolen each collected two hits for Disco Turkeys. Brogna, Damon, and Rolen each drove in one run for Disco Turkeys. Disco Turkeys turned two double plays in the game. Disco Turkeys were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Eddie Perez made the most plays with eight.
Ramirez provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Kelly Leak Allstars with two runs batted in. The outfielder went 2-for-4 on the day. Kelly Leak Allstars turned two double plays in the game.
