Kelly Leak Allstars Secure Win Against Sledgehammers

Kelly Leak Allstars outsted Sledgehammers 7-4 on Tuesday at 5100 Long Island Expy, Dix Hills, NY 11746.
A sacrifice fly by Juan Gonzalez put Sledgehammers on the board in the top of the first.
Kelly Leak Allstars flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the third, scoring five runs on two hits to take the lead, 5-1. The biggest blow in the inning was an error that drove in two.
Ken Caminiti hit a solo home run to center field in the top of the fifth for the Sledgehammers.
Darren Dreifort earned the win for Kelly Leak Allstars. The starting pitcher allowed eight hits and four runs (three earned) over nine innings, striking out six and walking three. Curt Schilling took the loss for Sledgehammers. The starting pitcher went eight innings, allowing seven runs (two earned) on six hits, striking out 12 and walking three.
Craig Biggio and Tom Goodwin were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Kelly Leak Allstars while hitting back-to-back. Eric Davis and Goodwin each drove in two runs for Kelly Leak Allstars. Kelly Leak Allstars turned two double plays in the game.
Barry Larkin and Caminiti each collected two hits for Sledgehammers. Caminiti and Gonzalez each drove in two runs for Sledgehammers.
