Kelly Leak Allstars takes 15 Innings to return favor and Walk-Off Disco Turkeys and take series.

Kelly Leak Allstars took Tuesday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 5-4 walk-off victory over Disco Turkeys at 5100 Long Island Expy, Dix Hills, NY 11746. The game was tied at four in the bottom of the fifteenth when Manny Ramirez hit a solo home run to right field.


Ramirez homered in the first and fifteenth innings. Ramirez hit two home runs in the victory.


A home run to left field by Ramirez put Kelly Leak Allstars on the board in the bottom of the first.


Johnny Damon hit a solo home run to right field in the top of the third for the Disco Turkeys.


Scott Rolen doubled to right field, which helped Disco Turkeys tie the game at two in the top of the fourth.


In the top of the sixth inning, Disco Turkeys went back into the lead after Alex Rodriguez homered to right field, and Rolen homered to right field, each scoring one run.


Mike Stanley hit a solo home run to right field in the bottom of the seventh for the Kelly Leak Allstars.


Eric Davis homered to right field, which helped Kelly Leak Allstars tie the game at four in the bottom of the eighth.


Ramon Martinez began the game for Kelly Leak Allstars. The pitcher surrendered nine hits and four runs over seven innings, striking out none and walking one. Chuck Finley stepped on the hill first for Disco Turkeys. The lefty gave up seven hits and three runs over six and two-thirds innings, striking out none and walking two. Mariano Rivera, Kelvim Escobar, and Matt Mantei each came on in relief for Kelly Leak Allstars and shutdown Disco Turkeys.


Kelly Leak Allstars accumulated 10 hits in the game. Carlos Hernandez and Stanley each collected multiple hits for Kelly Leak Allstars. Omar Vizquel led Kelly Leak Allstars with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, piling up seven walks for the game. Vizquel stole three bases. Kelly Leak Allstars turned two double plays in the game. Kelly Leak Allstars didn't commit a single error in the field. Craig Biggio had the most chances in the field with four.


Disco Turkeys tallied 12 hits in the game. Rolen went 3-for-5 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in. Damon, Rodriguez, and Mike Piazza each collected multiple hits for Disco Turkeys. Disco Turkeys were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Piazza made the most plays with three.




Next up for Kelly Leak Allstars is a game against Sledgehammers on Tuesday.
