M and H Lumber Company defeated Yesterday’s Knights 1-0 on Tuesday at 5100 Long Island Expy, Dix Hills, NY 11746 as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Dan Plesac, Trevor Hoffman, and Orlando Hernandez each pitched for M and H Lumber Company in the game. Hoffman induced a line out from Edgardo Alfonzo to get the last out.
Both teams were strong on the bump. M and H Lumber Company pitchers struck out nine, while Yesterday’s Knights sat down nine.
M and H Lumber Company were the first to get on the board in the seventh when Rafael Palmeiro hit a solo home run to right field.
