Powerful Pitching Performance From Roger Clemens Carries M and H Lumber Company Past Disco Turkeys

Roger Clemens was dominant on the bump, as the pitcher rang up 13 strikeouts in M and H Lumber Company's 3-1 victory over Disco Turkeys on Tuesday at 5100 Long Island Expy, Dix Hills, NY 11746. Clemens surrendered three hits and zero runs over seven and two-thirds innings while walking four.

The pitching was strong on both sides. M and H Lumber Company pitchers struck out 14, while Disco Turkeys sat down seven.

M and H Lumber Company were the first to get on the board in the fifth when Rickey Henderson homered to center field, scoring two runs.

Vinny Castilla hit a solo home run to left field in the top of the ninth for the M and H Lumber Company.

Terry Mulholland began the game for Disco Turkeys. The lefty surrendered four hits and three runs over nine innings, striking out seven and walking four. Dan Plesac and Jim Mecir each appeared in relief for M and H Lumber Company.

Enrique Wilson, Henderson, Castilla, and Roberto Alomar each collected one hit for M and H Lumber Company. Henderson led M and H Lumber Company with two runs batted in. The leadoff hitter went 1-for-2 on the day. M and H Lumber Company turned two double plays in the game.

Eddie Perez led Disco Turkeys with one run batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Scott Rolen, Mickey Morandini, Mike Piazza, Fernando Tatis, and Perez each collected one hit for Disco Turkeys.
