Runs Hard To Come By In Yesterday’s Knights Win Versus M and H Lumber Company

Both teams were strong on the hill on Tuesday, but Yesterday’s Knights defeated M and H Lumber Company 3-1. John Smoltz started the game for Yesterday’s Knights and recorded 21 outs.
The bottom of the lineup was strong for Yesterday’s Knights. Fernando Vina, Ellis Burks, and Edgardo Alfonzo combined for four of the team's eight hits in their victory. They scored one run and drove in two.
Yesterday’s Knights got on the board in the fourth inning after Vina doubled, scoring two runs.
Bernie Williams hit a solo home run to right field in the bottom of the sixth for the M and H Lumber Company.
Alex Rodriguez hit a solo home run to center field in the top of the seventh for the Yesterday’s Knights.

Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating nine walks for the game. Yesterday’s Knights turned one double play in the game. Yesterday’s Knights were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Olerud had the most chances in the field with 15.
