Vlad Guerrero Drives 4 Runners Home In M and H Lumber Company Victory Over Disco Turkeys

Vlad Guerrero drove in four runs on two hits to lead M and H Lumber Company past Disco Turkeys 6-1 on Tuesday at 5100 Long Island Expy, Dix Hills, NY 11746. Guerrero hit a home run to center field in the fourth inning, scoring three runs, and singled in the eighth inning, scoring one.
A double by Richie Sexson put M and H Lumber Company on the board in the bottom of the first.
Brian McRae grounded out, which helped Disco Turkeys tie the game at one in the top of the second.
M and H Lumber Company took the lead in the bottom of the fourth. Guerrero homered to center field, scoring three runs, to give M and H Lumber Company the advantage, 4-1.
Jamie Moyer stepped on the bump first for M and H Lumber Company. The lefty surrendered eight hits and one run over seven and one-third innings, striking out eight and walking two. Ramiro Mendoza stepped on the bump first for Disco Turkeys. The right-handed pitcher surrendered six hits and four runs over six innings, striking out none and walking none. Steve Reed pitched one and two-thirds innings of no-run ball for M and H Lumber Company in relief. The righty allowed one hit, striking out one and walking none.
M and H Lumber Company tallied nine hits in the game. Sexson led M and H Lumber Company with three hits in four at bats. Vinny Castilla collected two hits for M and H Lumber Company in four at bats. M and H Lumber Company were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Ivan Rodriguez had the most chances in the field with 10.
Disco Turkeys piled up nine hits in the game. McRae went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Eddie Perez went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Disco Turkeys in hits.
